Terms of service
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all measurements and colours stated on the quote/invoice are correct. No refunds/returns will be accepted for incorrect colour/size.
No refunds will be issued after manufacturing has begun.
Standard Orders off our website required full payment up front. Custom orders work as follows: Upon receipt of your invoice, a 70% payment deposit is required in order for the lead time/production to commence. The outstanding balance is due upon completion of your order - before the item/s leave our factory for delivery/collection.
All lead times quoted are subject to stock availability. You will be notified if your estimated completion date is at risk due to raw material shortages or load-shedding delays. The products purchased from La Vita Designs are all handmade, no two items are exactly the same. Slight flaws and variations may be visible on any hand-made product.
If your product is defective, you have 7 days in which to return your product* for repairs or replacement. All products that are returned are required to be wrapped and packaged in the same state as they were on delivery. Unpackaged items will not be collected by our couriers. *not applicable to mirrors.
Mirrors/glass items must be checked by the customer on delivery/collection, no returns/refunds will be given on these items once handed to the customer. If someone is receiving the items on your behalf, the above still applies.
La Vita Designs shall not be liable or responsible in any way for any damages caused by or due to failure of operation or malfunction of goods unless such damages can be attributed to circumstances reasonably within the control of La Vita Designs.
Delivery costs are not included unless stated in the quote/invoice. Delivery charges vary depending on the item, size and delivery address. Please view our shipping policy for more information.
All natural wood has knots, markings and colour variations, no two pieces are identical. Wood is a natural product and can't be expected to be perfect. In a similar way, steel has natural movement and will bend and shift if forced to.
La Vita will not be held liable for any damages due to the movement of furniture once it has been offloaded from our vehicle.
